Interiors and Some is an independent business operated by Monica Bowles.  For data protection purposes, Interiors and Some is the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you contact or buy from us, we may collect:

• your      name
• your      email address and telephone number
• your      delivery or collection address
• details      of enquiries, orders, commissions and services requested;
• payment      and transaction information (payments are processed by our payment      provider and we do not keep complete card details)
• your      marketing preferences
• prize-draw      or event-entry information; and
• information      you choose to give us when communicating by email, through our website, at      an event or through social media.

Our website provider may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type and information collected through cookies.  Where required, you will be asked to choose which optional cookies you accept.

How we use your information

• process      orders, payments, deliveries, collections and returns
• provide      restoration, upholstery, styling or other commissioned services
• keep      records required for accounting, tax, insurance and legal purposes

• Legitimate      interests: where it is reasonably necessary to run      and protect our business, respond to enquiries, maintain customer service      and improve our services, provided that your rights do not override those      interests.
• Legal      obligation: where we must keep or disclose      information to comply with tax, accounting or other legal requirements.

Email marketing

We will send marketing emails only where we are permitted to do so.  If you join our mailing list, we may send occasional emails about newly restored pieces, handmade interiors, events, commissions and special offers.

You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us at the email address above.  Unsubscribing will not affect service messages concerning an existing enquiry, order or commission.

Prize draws

If you enter one of our prize draws, we will use your contact details to administer the draw, select and contact the winner and arrange delivery or collection of the prize.

Entering a prize draw does not automatically add you to our marketing list.  We will use your details for marketing only if you separately choose to receive it.

Unless you have joined our mailing list or we need to retain information for a legal reason, non-winning prize-draw entries will normally be deleted or securely destroyed within 30 days after the prize has been awarded.

Who we share information with

Where necessary, we may share limited information with trusted providers that help us operate the business, such as:

• our      website, website-form and email-marketing providers;
• payment-processing      providers;
• delivery      and courier companies;
• IT,      cloud-storage and professional service providers; and
• regulators,      insurers, courts or law-enforcement bodies where legally required.

These providers may use your information only as permitted by their agreements with us or as required by law.  We do not sell or rent your personal information to other organisations.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.  Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate legal safeguard protects the information.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including:

• enquiry      records: normally up to two years after our last contact;
• order,      commission, payment and accounting records: for as long as required for      tax, insurance and legal purposes, normally up to six years;
• mailing-list      details: until you unsubscribe or we decide the list is no longer active;      and
• prize-draw      entries: normally no more than 30 days after the prize has been awarded,      unless the entrant has separately joined our mailing list.

We may keep a minimal record that you have unsubscribed so that we can respect your request and avoid contacting you again.

How we protect information

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure.  Access is limited to those who need it for the purposes described in this notice.  Paper forms are stored securely and destroyed when no longer required.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

• ask      for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us      to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• ask us      to delete your information;
• object      to or restrict how we use your information;
• withdraw      consent at any time; and
• ask      for certain information to be transferred to you or another organisation.
